Why Fiscal Edge

Built like an audit file. Thorough, traceable, signed off.

Most compliance failures are not technical. They are missed dates, lost documents and nobody owning the file. We fixed those first.

  • Partner-led, always

Every return and report is reviewed and signed by a partner. You get a named chartered accountant, not a ticket number.

  • Fixed fees, agreed upfront

A written scope and quote before work begins. Routine calls and emails are included, never billed by the hour.

  • Encrypted client portal

Documents move through an encrypted portal with two-factor login and an access log, never over open email.

  • One calendar, every deadline

We track due dates in every jurisdiction you file in and start early, so nothing is filed at midnight.

How it works

From first call to filed return.

  1. Step 1

    Consult

A 30-minute call to understand your residency, income sources, entities and deadlines. No charge, no obligation.

    Day 1
  2. Step 2

    Share documents

Upload to your portal against a checklist prepared for your situation. We chase the bank and broker statements.

    Days 2 to 5
  3. Step 3

    Prepare & review

Your chartered accountant prepares the return, a partner reviews it, and you approve a plain-language summary.

    5 to 10 working days
  4. Step 4

    File & confirm

We file, send acknowledgements and computation sheets, and add your next due dates to the shared calendar.

Common questions

Before you book.

Straight answers to the questions we hear most. Anything else, ask on the call.

Ask a question

Yes, if your Indian income from rent, interest, capital gains or dividends exceeds the basic exemption limit, or if you want a refund of TDS deducted at higher non-resident rates. Many NRIs also file to carry forward capital losses and to keep a clean record for future repatriation.

For India and the UAE we file directly. For the UK, US, Canada, Australia and Singapore we prepare the return and submit with locally licensed partner firms where the law requires a resident practitioner to sign. You deal with one Fiscal Edge team throughout.

A DTAA decides which country taxes which income and lets you claim credit for tax already paid abroad. We assess your residential status, apply the treaty article that fits, and file the supporting forms (Form 10F, tax residency certificate, Form 67) so relief is not denied on a technicality.

Fees are fixed per engagement and quoted in writing before we start. A straightforward Indian return is a flat fee; audits and advisory are scoped after the first call. Routine calls and emails are included.

Documents are exchanged through an encrypted client portal with two-factor login and a full access log. We do not accept sensitive documents over WhatsApp or open email, and data is retained only as long as the law requires.

Yes. Our partners represent clients before assessing officers, CIT (Appeals) and the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, and in GST proceedings. For court matters we work alongside your counsel with forensic reports, affidavits and expert testimony.
